Short synopsis

Yotam studies in a Jewish ultra-orthodox school. Confused by the awakening of his sexuality he confides in his rabbi who abuses him. The young boy finds himself trapped by the enforced silence of his community, with no one to trust and nowhere to go.

(44 words, 250 characters.)

(66 words, 385 characters)

Director's comments

“Sinner” attempts to give voice to the children whose innocence is abused within the walls of the only world they know and love, by the very same people whose task is to guide them and keep them from harm. In a world where sex is taboo, victims suffer in silence, often blaming themselves for the crimes inflicted upon them, while the abusers know their acts will go unpunished.

(69 words, 378 characters.)
